03 How it's made
It is the same order on every episode, because that is the order the thing actually happens in.
Resin, straight off the plate. Supports off, washed, cured, and inspected for the layer lines that will show up later under paint.
Sanding, filling, seam work and test fits. The unglamorous half of the hobby and the half that decides how good the paint can get.
Thin coats, from several angles. Primer is where you find every flaw you told yourself you'd get away with.
Base, shade, layer, highlight. Every episode names the main paint used, so you can go and do the same thing yourself.
Lit and shot properly, on the same rig that shoots national television campaigns. Miniatures deserve real lighting.
The bit nobody else does. Each finished figure gets a voice and a line, and for a few seconds it stops being resin.
